Polka Hall of Fame will be hosting a Mother's Day Dance

Mar. 15—The National Cleveland-Style Polka Hall of Fame will be hosting a Mother's Day Dance 6 to 10 p.m. May 10 at the American Croatian Lodge, 34900 Lake Shore Blvd. in Eastlake.

Performing polkas and waltzes will be Frank Stanger and his orchestra. Meanwhile, dinners, sandwiches and nationality treats to order will be catered by Dubrovnik Gardens.

Cost is $15 the day of the event or save $3 with an advance ticket of $12 through the Polka Hall of Fame, 605 East 222nd St. in Euclid, which is open Wednesdays and Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Those 18 and under are admitted for free. The National Cleveland-Style Polka Hall of Fame has preserved and promoted America's good-time music since 1987. The museum features music exhibits with celebrity accordions and the stories behind them.
