Political memorabilia show set for Saturday
Apr. 3—GREENSBORO — The Dixie Chapter of the American Political Items Collectors (APIC) will sponsor a show and sale Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Wyndham Garden Hotel, 415 Swing Road, Greensboro.
The show, the only one of its kind in the Carolinas, will feature thousands of political memorabilia items — ranging from the 1800s to current campaigns — including advertising items, pinback buttons, autographs, photographs and more.
Other types of collectibles — including civil rights, pop culture, sports and military — will also be featured at the show.
Admission is $3, and children and students get in for free.
Attendees are also invited to bring any political memorabilia they have for appraisals, which will be done for a small fee.
