Police in Wisconsin looking for suspect accused of cutting shopper at Pick n’ Save for taking too long in checkout line

MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in southern Wisconsin are looking for a suspect who allegedly cut another shopper following an argument over taking too long in the checkout line.

According to the Madison Police Department, officers were sent to a Pick n’ Save on South Park Street around 4:40 p.m. on April 7. When officers arrived, a woman was bleeding from the face.

It was reported that a different woman allegedly cut the shopper. The suspect reportedly made comments about the victim taking too long in the checkout line.

Officials say that the two got into an argument and the suspect allegedly pulled out what is believed to be a knife and swung it at the victim’s face. The release says that this all happened in front of a child.

The victim was reportedly taken to a hospital for her injuries. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact the Madison Police Department at 608-255-2345.

Authorities provided pictures of the suspect and the vehicle the suspect left in.

The investigation is reportedly ongoing, no additional information was provided.
