Police say a tractor-trailer collided with car in Sudbury, resulting in a fatality
SUDBURY — A 34-year-old Framingham man is dead and a second man is injured after a tractor-trailer and car crashed head-on Tuesday morning on Boston Post Road (Route 20) near the intersection of Wayside Inn Road, authorities said.
The crash occurred about 10:30 a.m., according to the Middlesex District Attorney's Office.
In a press release, authorities said it appears the tractor-trailer was traveling westbound on Boston Post Road when it crashed head-on into a Nissan Sentra driven by the Framingham man, that was traveling east on the same roadway.
Sudbury Police Chief Scott Nix said the driver of the sedan died from his injuries. The driver of the truck was taken to Marlborough Hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening. The names of the two men were not immediately released.

The crash is near the same location as that of a three-vehicle crash that occurred April 2, Nix said.
In that crash, authorities said a car driven by a Framingham man crashed head-on into a truck carrying a trash compactor. The truck then struck a third vehicle, authorities said. All three drivers involved were injured, the Framingham man most seriously, authorities said.
Tuesday's crash is being investigated by the DA's office, the Sudbury Police and Fire departments and the Massachusetts State Police's collision reconstruction unit.
