Police: Tour bus, tractor-trailer crash in Vermont

NEW HAVEN, Vt. (AP) — Police say a tour bus and a tractor-trailer have collided in western Vermont. No serious injuries have been reported.

Vermont State Police say they received a call about 8 p.m. Friday reporting the collision between a tour bus and tractor-trailer on Route 22A in West Haven, about 70 miles south of Burlington.

A spokeswoman for Rutland Regional Medical Center says its staff treated 24 people from the accident. She says 23 were released by 2:30 a.m. and the last was admitted in good condition.

Porter Hospital cited privacy rules and declined to comment on the condition of crash victims transported there.

It's not immediately known how many passengers were on the tour bus or the condition of the drivers involved.

Officials say the cause of the collision is under investigation.
