Police seize fentanyl, firearms in Elyria trafficking bust
ELYRIA, Ohio (WJW) – Elyria police have shared new photos of guns, ammo, cash, and a large amount fentanyl with Fox 8 News Saturday.
Police said the items were seized during a drug investigation.

Police said, two people were arrested Friday on charges related to drug trafficking in Elyria.
According to a press release from the Elyria Police Department, the Special Response Team executed a search warrant Friday at a home on the 500 block of Bayberry Drive.
Investigators seized a “significant quantity” of substances including over five ounces of fentanyl and almost two ounces of crack cocaine, according to the release.
According to the release, investigators also seized multiple firearms and a large amount of money.
Anthony Russell, 25, was arrested and charged with tracking drugs, possession of drugs, having weapons while under disability, endangering children and receiving stolen property.
Kaitlin Ruiz, 28, was arrested and charged with endangering children, according to the release.

Russell and Ruiz were both taken to the Lorain County Jail. They are both being held there until their appearance in Elyria Municipal Court.
