Police seeking information on Peekskill attempted murder
A man was arrested and charged Tuesday with assaulting a 56-year-old woman in Peekskill
Peekskill police Lt. Adam Renwick said officers responded to the scene of a reported assault at an apartment on 900 South Street around 3:10 p.m. Tuesday. Renwick said a 56-year-old woman sustained serious injuries and was taken to Westchester Medical Center for treatment.
The suspect, Haseem Jenkins, 31, was on the scene of the assault and was charged with second-degree attempted murder and first-degree assault.
