Police seek hit-and-run driver after girl injured
Police are trying to trace a driver involved in a hit-and-run crash in North Lanarkshire which left a 12-year-old girl injured.
Emergency services were called to Cambusnethan Street near the roundabout with Kirk Road in Wishaw at about 16:30 on Friday 19 April.
Officers said the collision involved a silver three-door Vauxhall Corsa hatchback which failed to stop at the scene.
The girl was taken to Wishaw General Hospital where she was treated for facial injuries.
Officers say they have been carrying out extensive inquiries but they have been unable to identify the vehicle or driver involved.
Anyone with information or footage from the scene is urged to get in touch.
