Police seek help with missing South Windsor woman

May 12—SOUTH WINDSOR — Police are looking for help locating a 30-year-old local woman who went missing Monday, Sgt. Mark Cleverdon said.

The woman, Jessica Edwards, a clinical training student at Hartford Hospital, left her residence with an unknown person Monday and called out of her clinical training at the hospital the same day, he said.

Her family reported her missing Monday, Cleverdon said.

"We are actively looking into it and we will continue to do so until we get some development that pushes us in the right direction," Cleverdon said Tuesday.

He said that police were combing through phone records for clues on Edwards' whereabouts, as her cellphone is turned off.

Anyone with information is asked to call 860-644-2551.
