Police searching for suspects in connection to Athens pharmacy burglary

ATHENS, Ala. (WHNT) – The Athens Police Department is searching for two men in connection to a burglary at a pharmacy.

According to a spokesperson with the department, two men broke into Westside Pharmacy around 3:30 a.m. Sunday.

The security camera images show the men grabbing medications of the shelf and placing them in a trash can, which they took with them.

The department said the possible vehicle the suspects used to get away was a dark grey Jeep Cherokee.
