Owensboro Police Department

• Jessica D. Nelson, 38, of the 800 block of Holly Avenue was charged Wednesday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth).

• Tyshawn D. Hawkins, 23, of the 600 block of Orchard Street was charged Wednesday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth).

• A rape was reported Tuesday on East 22nd Street.

• A Chevrolet C/K 1500 worth $1,500 was reported stolen Wednesday from the 90 block of Crabtree Avenue.

• A Ford F-150 sustained vandalism damage Wednesday while parked in the 2900 block of Dixiana Court.
