The following list was compiled from reports to area law enforcement agencies:

Owensboro Police Department

• Almarrow Talbott, 20, of the 2000 block of West 10th Street, was charged Thursday with first-degree strangulation.

• Clinton A. Hernandez-Reynoso, 19, of the 1800 block of West Fifth Street, was charged Thursday for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle.

• A new engine for a 2004 Dodge truck, valued at $9,126.86, was stolen Tuesday in the 3900 block of Frederica Street.

Kentucky State Police

• Mason S. Mattingly, 21, of the 5400 block of Kentucky Highway 142 in Philpot, was charged Thursday with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle.
