Police Probe Claims By Britain’s Got Talent’s Ian Marshall He Was Gang-Raped
Cops are to investigate claims by Britain’s Got Talent singer Ian Marshall that he was gang raped.
The 64-year-old, below, previously claimed he was attacked by two men when he was 14 in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
He claimed to be sleeping rough after fleeing home from his alcoholic dad, when he was lured to a house with the promise of a bed for the night.
Marshall has also spoken of how the alleged attack drove him to suicide and thanked his wife Anne, below, for saving him from depression.
A police spokesman told The Sun: “A crime report has been generated and we are keen to speak to Mr Marshall to gather information that could assist an investigation.”
Sources close to the singer, who performed with wife Anne, 61, were quoted in the newspaper saying: “At this stage, he wants to focus on the show.”
