Police will put a dispersal order in place in response to information about a possible car meet.

The order will be in place around the A134 Fornham bypass near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, from 19:00 BST on Friday to 18:59 on Sunday.

It will give police powers to remove a person from the area and comes following previous reports of dangerous driving and antisocial behaviour there on 4 May.

Insp Gary Miller, of the roads and armed policing team, said officers would also "seize vehicles" seen driving erratically.

"Gatherings which commence will be required to disperse and anyone refusing to comply with the direction will be arrested," he added.
