Police name 38-year-old man killed Monday morning after being hit by DART bus

The Wilmington Police Department has identified the man fatally struck by a DART bus Monday morning as 38-year-old Glenn DuPont.

Police said DuPont was found injured on the 100 block of N. Monroe St. in Wilmington's West Center City neighborhood at 5:49 a.m. on Monday. He later died, but police did not say when or where.

Wilmington police did not say that DuPont was hit by a bus in the initial news release, but the Delaware Department of Transportation confirmed that a bus had hit the man later that day. Police clarified Tuesday evening that DuPont was hit by a bus.
