Police find man dead on shoulder of K-7 after hit-and-run
KANSAS CITY, Kan. — The Kansas City, Kansas Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run that left one person dead Friday morning.
When officers arrived at K-7 and Hollingsworth Road around 1:45 a.m. on Friday, they found a man lying on the shoulder with vehicle debris near him.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
The police department is asking anyone with information to call the Crime Stoppers tips hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
