Police find man dead on shoulder of K-7 after hit-and-run

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — The Kansas City, Kansas Police Department is investigating a hit-and-run that left one person dead Friday morning.

When officers arrived at K-7 and Hollingsworth Road around 1:45 a.m. on Friday, they found a man lying on the shoulder with vehicle debris near him.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
