Police: Man dead after shooting in Polish Hill
May 2—A Pittsburgh man is dead after Pittsburgh police say he was found in Polish Hill with multiple gunshot wounds early Sunday morning.
Officers responded to a Shotspotter alert in the 3000 block of Paulowna Street around 2:40 a.m. where they found the man and began rendering aid until EMS arrived.
The man was identified as Richard T. Brookins, 29, of Pittsburgh, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's office.
Brookins died at 6:21 a.m., the medical examiner's office said.
The investigation is ongoing.
