9-year-old boy from west Charlotte found safe: CMPD

CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A nine-year-old boy from west Charlotte who was reported missing on Sunday has been found safe, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.

Hunter Murray is diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment and may be hard of hearing, officials said. He was last seen at his house in the 1100 block of Skyview Road.

Police say Murray left on foot wearing a red long-sleeve shirt, grey sweatpants and grey sneakers. He is about 4’11” and has a thin build.

Just after 2 p.m. on Sunday, police reported Murray was found safely.
