Police investigating shooting in Fremont

(KRON) – The Fremont Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred Tuesday morning in the Stevenson Boulevard and Albrae Street area.

Police responded to reports of a shooting at 9:45 a.m. and located a victim suffering from a gunshot wound, Fremont PD said. The victim was transported to an area hospital. The extent of the victim’s injuries and their current condition is unknown.

What caused the Facebook, Instagram outages?

Police advised the public at 10:14 a.m. to avoid the area due to the ongoing investigation.
