Police investigating fatal crash in Prince George’s County

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — The Prince George’s County Police Department said it’s investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash that happened in Laurel on Sunday.

Police said that on March 24 at about 6:00 pm, they responded to a crash in the area of Laurel Bowie Road and Mallard Drive.

Officials said one person died. She was identified as 45-year-old Parbati Sharma of Herndon, Virginia.

The 4 other people in the SUV were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the other car had minor injuries.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
