Police investigating card skimmer found in Moore grocery store

MOORE, Okla. (KFOR) – The Moore Police Department is investigating after a card skimmer was found in a local grocery store.

According to Moore PD, the card skimmer was found in a grocery store near NW 5th and I-35. Officers later discovered it had Bluetooth capabilities.

The store is working with police to figure out how the device was installed. MPD is also working with the United States Secret Service & Electronic Crimes Task Force as the investigation continues.

Moore PD is reminding residents to be aware of card skimmers and to closely monitor cards and bank accounts.
