Yukon Police: Alleged high school stabbing was ‘fabricated’

UPDATE 04/19/2024 12:11 PM

According to the Yukon Police Department, it has been determined that the alleged stabbing did not happen as it was first reported by officials. Police now say the incident was falsely reported.

Officials say the incident was fabricated and there is no evidence supporting the individual’s account.

“Yukon Police would like to emphasize the seriousness of making false reports, especially regarding incidents as grave as violent crimes. Fabricating such events not only wastes valuable resources and time but also undermines the trust and credibility of our community’s safety institutions.” said Yukon Police.
