Man dies after he was dropped off at southwest Las Vegas valley hospital with gunshot wound

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Metro police are investigating a shooting after a man was dropped off at a southwest Las Vegas valley hospital with a gunshot wound, police said.

On Monday evening at around 6:40 p.m., police responded to Spring Valley Hospital in response to a report of a man being dropped off and left in the area with a gunshot wound, police said.

As officers arrived at the hospital, medical staff pronounced the victim dead. The LVMPD Homicide Section took over the investigation.

Police identified the crime scene related to the gunshot wound victim in a residence in the 4200 block of Hallendale Drive near Flamingo Road and New Forest Drive in the Spring Valley area of west Las Vegas.
