Police identify Rumpke driver found shot in Roselawn Monday

Cincinnati police say a death investigation involving a Rumpke driver in Roselawn is a homicide.

The Cincinnati Police Department was called to the 7100 block of Eastlawn Drive around 9 a.m. where officers found an unresponsive man, identified by police as 30-year-old Angel Flores, inside a vehicle.

Flores was found suffering from a gunshot wound and died at the scene, according to police.

Rumpke spokesperson Molly Yeager issued a statement, saying police notified the company of the fatal shooting of one of their residential drivers this morning.

“Nothing is more important than our team members and their safety. We are a close team, and today, all of our hearts are broken. Our thoughts are with the family, friends and co-workers of our driver, the statement said.

"We will be working with our Employee Assistance Program to make sure our team members have resources available as they come to terms with today’s incident and grieve for the loss of a friend.”
