Police ID woman who was found disoriented, confused in Mt. Juliet

MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) — Police turned to the Mt. Juliet community for help identifying a woman who was found disoriented and confused on the Providence greenway Thursday morning.

According to the Mt. Juliet Police Department, the woman was discovered near Providence Trail and Bridge Mill around 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 9.

Authorities said the woman is currently being treated at a local hospital, but she was unable to provide any identifying information.

Officials described the woman as 60 to 70 years old, 5-feet 4-inches tall, and 150 pounds. She was reportedly wearing a navy shirt, blue jeans, and pink slippers when she was found.

Just after noon, police provided an update on social media, saying the woman had been identified and that she would be reunited with her family soon.

No additional details have been shared about the circumstances surrounding the woman’s discovery.
