Police in Fort Worth ask for public’s help in two separate missing person cases

Fort Worth police are searching for two missing people whose disappearances are not believed to be connected, according to posts on social media.

Police said in a social media post that Amanda Marie Underwood, 44, and Troy Allen Tackett, 54, are both missing.

Tackett was last seen around 3:30 p.m. March 1 in the 5200 block of Hastings Drive. He was wearing a gray and maroon hoodie, blue jeans and blue shoes, according to police. He is 6 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs around 200 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Underwood hasn’t been seen since March 2, when she was in the 4400 block of Cartagena Drive. She was wearing a red shirt and blue pants. Underwood is about 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs around 145 pounds.

The two locations where they were last seen are 1.3 miles apart in south Fort Worth, west of Chisholm Trail Parkway.

Police said both people may simply be lost, but are asking the public to contact investigators at 817-392-4222 if they know oftheir whereabouts.
