Police: FedEx gunman had unused explosive devices

KENNESAW, Ga. (AP) — Police say that a gunman at a Fedex location in Georgia was also carrying explosive devices but they weren't used.

Cobb County Police spokesman Dana Pierce says the gunman who opened fire and wounded six on Tuesday morning had "molotov cocktails."

Pierce didn't say how many of the explosive devices the man had.

Pierce says the devices were not detonated during the shooting, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation is also working to collect evidence at the facility in Kennesaw, Ga.

Authorities have said the gunman died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound and the man's identity hasn't been released. Three of the victims were critically wounded.
