Police charge second juvenile after one killed in Baton Rouge shooting
BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A second juvenile was apprehended in connection with a fatal shooting on Clayton Street Monday, May 6.
The juvenile was taken into custody on Tuesday, May 14 by the Baton Rouge Police Department.
Investigators obtained an arrest warrant for the second juvenile on a charge of obstruction of justice in connection with a shooting that took the life of Sherderick Jones, 46. Police said Jones was shot during an argument with a teen around 5:30 p.m. and he died later at a local hospital.
BRPD said the juvenile was booked into the East Baton Rouge Juvenile Detention Center.
