Police: Boy hurt in Northeast DC, taken to hospital

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said a boy was hurt Saturday afternoon in Northeast D.C.

In a post made on X just before 4 p.m., MPD said the shooting was in the 1500 block of Olive St. NE. A juvenile boy was suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was taken to a hospital while conscious and breathing, MPD said.

Police later classified the incident as an Injured Person to Hospital.
