Police arrest man who struck Blue Springs Pizza Shoppe owner on Friday

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The owner of a Blue Springs Pizza Shoppe was hit by a customer on Friday night after she told him to “wait a moment” for service.

According to the Blue Springs Police Department, the man entered the restaurant and stood at the counter wanting to be served immediately. The owner told him to wait which made him upset, police said.

He then started hitting the owner causing two or more patrons to tackle and hold him down until officers arrived.

Blue Springs police later took the man into custody.
