Police allege Garden City woman blackmailed clients

GARDEN CITY, Kan. (KSNW) — A 21-year-old Garden City woman is in jail after allegations of prostitution and blackmail, according to the Garden City Police Department.

The GCPD got a report of blackmail a month ago and began investigating. According to police, they learned that the 21-year-old “engaged in sexual conduct with several victims, then threatened them with legal action in exchange for more money.”

Officers arrested her on Tuesday and booked her into the Finney County Jail on suspicion of blackmail and selling sexual relations.

Police say the investigation is continuing.
