Police: 3 injured in Muskegon shooting

MUSKEGON, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities say a man and two teens were injured in a shooting in Muskegon Tuesday night.

The Muskegon Police Department said shortly before 9 p.m. Tuesday that it responded to a report of a shooting on Laketon Avenue near the intersection of Seaway Drive.

When officers arrived, the police department said everyone had left the scene.

Officers later found a 17-year-old walking in the area with a gunshot wound. Two people, a 20-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy, arrived at the hospital with gunshot wounds, according to police.

All three had injuries that the police department said were not considered life-threatening.

Investigators determined that all three were at the scene of the shooting, which is not considered a random act. They are not cooperating with investigators, according to police.
