Police find 2 people with stab wounds while responding to West Nashville robbery

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Nashville authorities have launched an investigation into a reported robbery that resulted in two people getting stabbed overnight.

Shortly after 1:45 a.m. on Wednesday, April 17, the Metro Nashville Police Department said officers from the West Precinct responded to a report of a person who had been stabbed during a robbery in the 5200 block of Charlotte Avenue.

When law enforcement arrived on scene, they said they found the victim with a stab wound in the arm. Then, down the road — near the intersection of 52nd Avenue North and Charlotte Avenue — officers reportedly found another individual with a stab wound in the shoulder area.

According to officials, both people gave conflicting statements about what happened and became uncooperative. They were both brought to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
