LANCASTER, Pa. (AP) — Police in central Pennsylvania have taken one person into custody following a home invasion attack on three elderly Mennonite women.
Police offered no further information to the Intelligencer Journal/Lancaster New Era (http://bit.ly/TnIthh ) on Saturday night.
Authorities say the three women were tied up and assaulted with a stun gun on Friday by an intruder who raged against their faith.
Police say the assailant also ransacked the house in Clay Township and poured household chemicals on floors and furniture.
Authorities say the suspect was let into the home by one of the women after posing as an insurance salesman. The victims are between 84 and 90 years old.
A spokesman for Northern Lancaster County Regional Police declined to comment on Sunday morning.
