Plus-Size Model Shuts Down Fat-Shamers In Most Epic Way Ever

Body-positive advocates don’t come much more badass than Iskra Lawrence. Not only is the plus-size model the face of the Aerie Real campaign, she’s also an ambassador for the National Eating Disorders Association and she regularly dishes out doses of body confidence on her Instagram account.

But being so vocal about her ‘all bodies are beautiful’ stance has inevitably lead to haters wanting to shut Iskra down. Too bad for them, the feisty fashionisa isn’t willing to stay silent. Because the 25-year-old from Worcestershire literally just shut down a body-shamer in the best way possible.

When a commenter called her a “fat cow” and implied that “people like her eating too many bags of crisps” promotes obesity, she responded by staging a tongue-in-cheek photo shoot of herself, lingerie-clad and surrounded by bags of crisps.

“This is for anyone who has ever been called fat,” she captioned the image. “Opinions are like arseholes — everyone’s got one.”

Unsurprisingly, her witty response has resulted in an outpouring of support from her fans, who took to Instagram to thank the model for her continued stance on body positivity.

But she wasn’t finished just yet. Just in case the message wasn’t quite received, she also posted a slow-mo video of herself eating some crisps while she metaphorically and literally gave her haters the middle finger.

“I do not condone binge-eating. I eat whatever I want in moderation,” she wrote alongside the video. “I will eat crisps, but I’ll also make healthy, home-cooked meals and work out regularly.”

“The message is who gives a F what anyone else thinks of you. YOU are the only one who decides yourself worth,” she signed off before apologising for her out of character rudeness.

“And sorry I’m usually not rude or give anyone the finger but these online trolls smdh”

Rounds of applause all round
