Warm temperatures, sunny skies continue Thursday

You’ll need short sleeves and sunscreen if you’re headed outdoors Thursday as our stretch of summerlike weather continues. Temperatures quickly climb back into the mid-80s with even warmer weather Friday.

Late-day showers and a few storms will develop on Friday afternoon, ushering in a stretch of unsettled weather that will last off and on through the weekend.

Brief downpours are possible with any thunderstorm that develops, but widespread severe weather is not expected.

Showers will also be around Saturday, but there should be some breaks late day.

Check the Severe Weather Team 11 forecast for the latest track and timing of wet weather this weekend.
