Play of the Day: A Look at 2016
Stephen Colbert got ahold of a story about the Homeland Security Department buying more bullets than every before and jumped on the bandwagon of those assuming a conspiracy. Monday night, Colbert asked why DHS would be doing such a thing, wondering if the department was “shooting a Tarantino movie?”
On NBC, both Jay Leno and Jimmy Fallon has similar jokes about Barack Obama’s commencement address at Ohio State University over the weekend. In asking for the citizens to be better citizens and to make the world a better place, both Leno and Fallon asked if maybe Obama should be doing the same thing.
Fallon also took a look at the 2016 presidential race, joking about the rumored election fight between Vice President Joe Biden and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Fallon’s jokes tapped the usual “Biden is immature” vein.
