Omega Plastics adding 80 jobs, doubling size of its Clinton, Tenn. headquarters

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Omega Plastics will expand in Clinton, Tenn., adding 80 new jobs.

The announcement came Wednesday from Gov. Bill Haslam, Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bill Hagerty and company officials.

Omega is investing $8.2 million in the expansion of its corporate headquarters.

Omega utilizes plastics extrusion to manufacture prototype and low-volume products for use in medical, consumer packaging, automotive, and security and safety productions.

The company will more than double its headquarters' size in the Carden Farm Industrial Park by adding 85,000 square feet.
