Pinpoint Weather: Warming trend for the weekend

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Showers will move into the region overnight into the first half of the day on Saturday as a warm front lifts northward.

Temperatures will rebound slightly on Saturday with highs for many in the 60s after starting in the 40s and 50s.

Rainfall on Saturday is expected to be less than a tenth of an inch. Through next week, rainfall is expected to be less than half an inch with isolated higher amounts in thunderstorms.

Warmer air returns to the region on Sunday with high temperatures rising into the 80s. Temperatures will remain in the 80s for most of the region next week. Overnight lows will be in the 50s and 60s.
