Pinpoint Weather: Warm weather continues

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Temperatures this afternoon will wrap up in the 70s to around 80 for the day’s highs. This evening will remain rather mild with a few clouds and a chance of showers with a slight chance of isolated storms. Temperatures will be in the 60s and 70s.

Expect Thursday to be sunny and warm compared to the normal highs in the 60s to around 70. After morning lows in the 50s and 60s, highs will be in the 70s and 80s.

Skies will be sunny Thursday with the next rain and storm chances coming Friday.

Warm weather will continue through Saturday before a passing front brings in cooler air Sunday into next week.

Rain chances will be on and off throughout the period.

Avendus, the top investment bank for venture deals in India, confirmed on Wednesday it is looking to raise up to $350 million for its new private equity fund. The new fund, called Future Leaders Fund III, will enable the Mumbai-headquartered firm to write larger checks and maintain a meaningful position in the startups it backs, said its managing partner Ritesh Chandra in an interview with TechCrunch. TechCrunch reported in early April that Avendus was putting together a plan to raise a new fund.
