Pinpoint Weather: Slight cooldown to end the week

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – A cold front has moved through the region which will allow us to clear out tonight with temperatures getting chilly again. Temperatures are slightly below average on Thursday, topping out in the 60s for most.

Clear conditions are expected overnight with some clouds bubbling up during the daytime hours on Thursday. Clouds will increase again on Friday as a warm front lifts into the region. Showers are possible Friday, mainly west of Interstate 77.

As warmer and more humid air returns for the weekend, hit-or-miss showers are possible. Temperatures will top out in the 70s on Saturday with a return to the 80s starting on Sunday. A better chance for showers and storms moves in on Tuesday with a cold front which will knock temperatures back into the 70s on Wednesday.
