Pine Bluff police investigating after shooting leaves man dead, another injured

PINE BLUFF, Ark. – Police in Pine Bluff are investigating after a shooting left one man dead and another person injured Monday evening.

According to the Pine Bluff Police Department, officers responded to a shooting at a home on South Arlington Street just after 7:30 p.m. Monday.

After arriving on the scene, detectives said they found 33-year-old Roderick Breedlove and another victim inside the home with apparent gunshot wounds.

Officers said Breedlove died on the scene, and the other victim was taken to a local hospital with what appeared to be nonlife-threatening wounds.

Detectives have not released information on a possible suspect or motive in the shooting.
