Pig rescued after falling off truck on Pennsylvania Turnpike

ADAMS COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) – A pig has found its new home after falling off a truck on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

The Adams County SPCA says they took in “Romeo” after he was found along the Pennsylvania Turnpike. A veterinarian checked him out and said other than some road rash, Romeo would be ok.

Believed to be about three weeks old, Romeo is a Yorkshire and is “going to be a BIG boy” once he’s fully grown.

After being placed on a list for adoption, the SPCA says Romeo now has his forever home.
