Piers Morgan tells son to switch to football after rugby injury sees him rushed to hospital
Piers Morgan’s son was rushed to hospital after suffering a nasty injury while playing rugby.
Bertie Morgan, 17, was taken to A&E at Kingston Hospital with a dislocated shoulder a year after falling victim to the same injury.
Piers tweeted a picture of his downcast son bandaged up underneath a sign reading: “Patients for X-Ray”.
Piers wrote: “One year on... same shoulder, same injury (dislocation) same cause (rugby tackle), same A&E department of same hospital.”

He also praised the staff at Kingston Hospital for their “fantastic” response.
He finished: “On the one positive note, thanks again to staff @KingstonHospNHS for fantastic service. Maybe time to switch to football @Bertie_Morgan11...”
Fans were quick to wish him a “speedy recovery” while others begged him not to listen to his father and to continue playing rugby.
The post came minutes after Piers announced he has signed a two year contract with Good Morning Britain.
The controversial presenter broke the “bad news” on Twitter, joking that his co-host Susanna Reid would not be delighted.
Poking fun at his loud voice, he tweeted: “BREAKING: Bad news for Britain, even worse news for @susannareid100.... I just signed a new deal to stay on @GMB for 2 more years. #TheFoghornStays.”
