Piers Morgan and Keith Olbermann Are Too Tired to Fight

Keith Olbermann and Piers Morgan snapped at one another on Twitter Monday, but they don't seem to have the energy for a complete spat. The two cable news hosts who've each recently been through the ringer limply threw tired blows starting with Olbermann: "Wait. @PiersMorgan has been on @CNN for a year - and they're CELEBRATING this?" Morgan shot back, "At least I'm still on the air, Grandpa." And then they staggered back into their corners, breathing heavily and wondering why they signed up for this fight. Morgan recently testified before the Leveson Inquiry on ethics in the press, and the repercussions of that are still echoing. Olbermann's been embroiled in his own sad saga as he faced down his network, Current TV, over covering the Republican primary. Neither seems to really have it in him for a new brawl, but both are obviously pretty damned touchy.
