Pia Wurtzbach wants Jessy Mendiola bashers to stop

The beauty queen shows her detest of cyberbullies and wants them to stop attacking Mendiola

4 Aug - Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach has had enough of bashers and their attacks on FHM Philippine's Sexiest Woman, Jessy Mendiola.

As reported on PEP News, the beauty queen, who is an advocate against cyberbullying, took to Twitter to express her annoyance, saying, "Seriously though, enough with the Jessy Mendiola hate. Confident Filipinas should be celebrated, not condemned."

She also added the hashtags NoToBodyShaming and NoToBullying.

This is the second time Wurtzbach expressed her support for Mendiola. Previously, she dismissed fans who tried to pit her against Mendiola after the latter made a remark about being 'confidently sexy with a heart' and 'beating Pia Wurtzbach in the votes' at the FHM Philippines 100 Sexiest Victory Party.

Wurtzbach's only response to the issue was, "What I saw was a girl who was just really ecstatic to be given that recognition. Nothing wrong with that. Congratulations, Jessy!"
