US Navy ship collides with oil tanker

The U.S. Navy said its guided missile destroyer USS Porter collided with a

Japanese-owned oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz early Sunday morning. The collision left a gaping hole in the starboard side of USS Porter but no one was injured on either vessel.
