Transgender model loses pageant

The first-ever transgender contestant in the Miss Universe Canada pageant has lost her bid to win the title. Jenna Talackova, 23, who was one of over 60 competitors on May 19, was among the final 12 contestants. She lost to another Vancouver contestant, Sahar Biniaz.
