Puppy Love

Pugs have been fashion's favoured pets for a while now, but this season, they've got themselves some very haute makeovers.

As part of the fourth edition of Firenze4Ever, the blogger fashion event hosted by the super chic  Italian fashion boutique Luisa Via Roma, the store presented its collaboration with 20 of the world's best known designers, to raise money for UNICEF.

The "Pug Dogs For Happy Kids" initiative sees 20 adorable stuffed dogs (produced by German company Steiff), customised by international luxury lables, in thier signature styles. So while the Balmain pug is a sequinned rock chic one, the Valentino one wears a single red-carpet worthy leash, and the Manish Arora pug is kitted out in signature crystallised gear. Vogue.in especially likes the crystal covered pug by Theysken's Theory.

The pugs will be auctioned in March on the Luisa Via Roma site, and all proceeds will go to UNICEF, for its project to help educate children in Bangladesh.
