Resist PC: Glad to see Ms. Alred looking good for the camera. It has finally dawned on me. I apologize for this 'revelation' taking me so long to finally realize how politics works. People don't want to make sacrifices or solve complex problems. Well....most of them. They want to feel good about themselves and promote the social utopian concept. Fairness, respect, equality, etc. etc. Let me give you a quick example. People want a,b & c. They want the 'idealistic vision' of what it means but either don't want to pay for it and understand they actually are fighting for. Willing to sacrifice the interests of others. Like people will say...Oh, I am fighting for marriage equality. Well are you fighting for two gay males to adopt a female child? Are you fighting for bisexual people to marry two different people? People will say I am fighting for reproductive rights. Are you fighting for males to give birth to children through science? Are you fighting for single women to have children without a father? They want to help out the less fortunate but have absolutely no idea other than don't tax me, don't tax thee, tax the guy behind the tree. It's platitudes that make people feel good about themselves. It's I'm okay and the other guy isn't okay. People want to pat themselves on the back.
